Chiropractic

Chiropractic is a treatment method that primarily deals with the human spine and musculoskeletal system. It was founded in the USA by D.D. Palmer at the end of the 19th century. In chiropractic treatment, hands are primarily used to move specific joints and thereby alleviate discomfort.
So-called adjustments are an important part of chiropractic. Joints are treated with targeted and controlled movements. A cracking sound can often be heard. This sound is caused by a rapid change in pressure within the joint and does not mean that a bone is being "put back in place." The goal is to improve mobility and reduce back or neck pain, for example. Such treatment can be helpful for some people, especially with back pain.
